FOCUS KEEPS COMING BACK: ONE-CHANGE CHECKLIST Orbital Focus editorial worksheet. Published September 22, 2026. This concerns Apple's Focus feature, not the Orbital Focus timer app. Record: Focus name / time / what happened immediately before / iOS version. Choose ONE first check, not a guaranteed diagnosis: - Time, location, or app event: Settings > Focus > affected Focus > schedules. - Bedtime: Health > Browse > Sleep > Full Schedule & Options > Use Schedule for Sleep Focus. - Wallpaper change: inspect the Focus linked to that Lock Screen. - Other device: Settings > Focus > Share Across Devices. - Travel/car connection: Settings > Focus > Driving > While Driving. Only while safely stopped. - No active Focus: inspect the affected app's notification settings instead. Event observed: My hypothesis: Original setting (so I can restore it): ONE change made: Next ordinary opportunity to check the suspected trigger: Result (returned / did not return / not checked yet): Next action: Do not mark an untested change solved. One successful check does not rule out another trigger. Never test while driving. Do not include private message text. The article contains dated Apple source links and explains each branch. https://orbitalfocus.app/guides/how-to-turn-off-focus-on-iphone/
