How a mission works

1. Open Mission ControlFrom the home globe, tap to open the mission planner. Pick a duration on the scrubber (15 minutes to three hours in five-minute steps).
2. Name your payloadType what you're working on. Payload text stays on your device and is never sent to analytics.
3. Choose crew and craftTag the kind of work with a crew role (Work, Study, Code, and more) and pick a rocket from your hangar.
4. LaunchFeel the countdown ritual (haptics at ignition, Max-Q, and staging), then fly until arrival. Timing uses the wall clock, so missions catch up correctly after you lock the phone or background the app.
