Need to stop early? Tap Abort during countdown or flight. Outcomes aren't punishing: an early exit is a re-entry and still banks the focus minutes you completed toward Δv, ranks, and streaks.

If you enabled Launch Lockdown, shields lift as soon as the mission ends or you abort.
